Estee Lauder companies is a company whose majority share-holders are the Lauder family. The son of Estee Lauder, Ronald Lauder, along with being an owner is currently Chairman and President of Lauder Investments, Inc., Chairman of Estée Lauder International, Inc., and Chairman of Clinique Laboratories, Inc. While this may seem harmless enough, Ronald Lauder's more public activities should be up for scrutiny. A confidante of Benjamin Netanyahu (who even took part in supposed peace negotiations with Syria), he is also president of the World Jewish Congress and the Jewish National Fund (JNF). Both of these organizations have taken an intricate and detailed role in the colonization of Palestine and are involved in several war crimes. In fact, the JNF played a huge role in the ethnic cleansing of Palestine. Ronald Lauder's positions on Israel are no secret- a simple google search will give you a plethora of information on his views. His glamourization of Israel and demand for America to take action against Iran are also clear. Notable Estee Lauder brands include Clinque, Estee Lauder, MAC Cosmetics, Tommy Hilfiger & Coach.

The first significant donation to the Shalem Center came from Ronald Lauder, the owner of the cosmetics empire, who at the time was chairman of the Conference of Presidents of Major American Jewish Organizations. A confidant and patron of Netanyahu, Lauder met Hazony in the period in which he worked for Netanyahu, and is now chairman of the Shalem Center's foundation board.
Lauder's donation of a few hundred thousand dollars a year was not enough for the center to realize its vision and grow at the pace its founders desired.
